The Citation Sovereign is Cessna’s improvement to the Citation Excel, built to be the “ultimate business tool.” Its new 515.9 square-foot wings take laminar flow into account and provide a lower drag coefficient, giving the jet great takeoff and landing performance. The jet only needs about 3,600 feet to take off, giving passengers more choices in airports. The Citation Sovereign is also highly dependable with high dispatch rates and solid systems through and through. The jet also operates great in high altitudes and temperatures.
Powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW-306C turbofan jet engines, with 5,770 pounds of thrust, the Sovereign reaches maximum ranges nearing 3,000 nautical miles. This makes the Sovereign a great choice for both transcontinental and short-field flights up to 7 hours long. The Citation Sovereign can easily travel from Washington to Hawai’i, or New York to St. Thomas.
The Citation Sovereign has the second-largest takeoff weight of any business jet, only second to the Citation X. The jet is very roomy and offers great comfort and space within the cabin. Inside you’ll find luxurious seating in a double-club arrangement, each with screens, foldable worktables, and cup holders. Polished wood accents and generously sized windows add a high-class feel. Wi-Fi, a refreshment center, and an enclosed lavatory are also available.
In addition to great seating, the Sovereign also has great baggage capacity. It has 100 cubic feet of external storage and 35 cubic feet of internal storage, meaning you and your colleagues don’t have to skimp on your golf clubs.
The cockpit utilizes the Honeywell Primus Epic avionics system, which comes complete with four LCD screens. Every JetLevel flight requires two pilots for the safety of our passengers.
