With a cabin length of 15.7 feet, the CJ3 provides ample room for six to eight passengers. It’s a longer version of the CJ1 and CJ2, but Cessna also made other improvements to the aircraft. These include the increased payload capacity and maximum takeoff weight for better flight planning. The jet is also faster than its predecessors, reaching cruise speeds of 480 miles per hour.
The CJ3 is powered by two Williams FJ44-3A turbofan engines, each contributing a thrust of 2,820 pounds. These powerful engines help make the CJ3 perform well at both takeoff and landing. Additionally, natural laminar flow wings improve the jet’s fuel efficiency.
Because the CJ3’s takeoff distance is only 3,182 feet, the jet can take off from a wide variety of airports throughout the United States, including more remote options with shorter runways.
Inside the cabin, you’ll find all the comforts you’ll need on your trip of up to 2,000 nautical miles. Leather seats can be arranged in a club format for easy communication with your fellow passengers. Enjoy a refreshment center and the privacy of an enclosed lavatory. Power outlets, folding writing tables, and Wi-Fi are also available throughout the cabin so you can continue to work and stay connected while in-flight.
Both internal and external baggage are available, so passengers can access their luggage during their flight, but pack more away for their trip. With 65 cubic feet of storage space total, you should have the room for all your passengers’ luggage.
