Its FJ44-3AP engine is much lighter and fuel efficient than its predecessors, and provides autothrottle, which saves fuel and reduces pilot workload. The Nextant 400XTi is one of the fastest aircraft in the sky with a cruising speed of 500 miles per hour. It outpaces most jets with a cabin of its size, about 321 cubic feet. For this iteration of the aircraft, Nextant introduced raked winglets, which reduce drag and improve performance. Another addition was the refined airflow over the aft fuselage, which increased the aircraft’s range.

With a range of over 1,800 nautical miles, passengers can easily fly from popular destinations like Aspen, Colorado to New Jersey without refueling. The plane also works very well in high altitude conditions and high heat.
