Naples Airport Runways

Naples Airport has three runways, two with a combination of asphalt and concrete, and one composed of turf. With all runways in fair to good condition, they have runway end identifier lights and touchdown points, which are unlit.

Runway 5/23

Runway 5/23 is 150 feet wide and 6,600 feet long.

Runway 14/32

Runway 14/32 is 100 feet wide and 5,001 feet long.

Runway NE/SW

Runway NE/SW is 100 feet wide and 1,850 feet long and made of turf.

Naples Airport Aircraft

With over 95,000 general aviation takeoffs and landings each year, Naples Airport is home to flight schools, air charters, and rental car companies. In FY21 it was home to 387 aircraft, with a significant increase during seasonal months.

APF and Noise Levels

Although Naples Airport operates in a noise-sensitive location, they are a good neighbor by reducing operations during a voluntary curfew from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Pilots are offered incentives to keep their travel plans outside of Quiet Hours. Stage 1 and Stage 2 aircraft, the oldest and noisiest, are banned.

APF and Aircraft Size Limits

Aircraft exceeding 75,000 pounds maximum gross weight are prohibited from operating at Naples Airport. Small aircraft, including small, single, or twin-engine aircraft weighing 12,500 pounds or less are welcome at APF. Examples of this are the Beech 90 or Cessna Caravan. Mid-size aircraft, weighing between 20,001 and 40,000 pounds, typically seat between six and nine passengers.

Naples Airport Amenities

Although a number of facilities are available at the Naples Airport, it has only one terminal and is not a large airport. The customer service desk is located on the ground floor in Arrivals and is open between 5:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. There are six parking lots with over 1,400 spaces, located along the main entry road. One provides long-term parking, four provide short-term parking, and one offers a valet car parking service. The airport also provides a selection of restaurants, bars, cafes, and snack bars, as well as shops in the Galleria Napoli, on the first floor of Terminal 1, and a duty-free shop in the Departures lounge.
