Purchasing Flights Early For the Holidays

There’s been an old rule of thumb that you should book your holiday travel three to six weeks in advance. But this is 2020, and nothing is normal in 2020. It’s generally thought that the earlier you book, the better, with some commentators saying that you should finalize your plans by mid October.  In 2020 the private jet charter sector has seen a huge increase in demand due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Many people are starting to utilize private jet charter for the first time and this is sure to put a strain on the supply as we move into peak season.   With that being said we anticipate that it will be more important than ever before to book an aircraft as early as possible for the upcoming holiday season. This will not only guarantee that you have an aircraft secured for your trip but it will also help you receive the best rate possible on your charter flight.   This is not to say that we can’t offer you a solution as we move closer into peak season. At  JetLevel Aviation we can always have an aircraft ready in as little as 3 to 6 hours. However,  rates are sure to climb as aircraft book up and there will be less aircraft in perfect position to accommodate your flight.

Early booking for a holiday private jet charter not only guarantees availability but also often secures more favorable rates. Planning ahead allows for a smoother travel experience, avoiding last-minute hassles and ensuring a personalized journey tailored to your preferences.

How JetLevel Aviation is keeping you safe during Covid-19

In response to Covid 19 JetLevel Aviation has implemented strategies to protect our clients and their guests in many ways. First and foremost we always focus on safety which includes running very strict safety audits to confirm the aircraft operators, aircraft, and crew in our network are adhering to the highest and strictest standards possible.   Some private jet charters are safer than others, but many of the rules are the same. The CDC is recommending the following for all flights, both commercial and private charter: cleaning the boarding door and rails, interior surfaces around the doors, all galley surfaces, including drawers, ledges, latches and hand holds. Even the flight attendant call buttons are to be wiped down, as are all tables, seats, seatbelts, and passenger convenience items. But does the fact that commercial and private charter have to follow the same rules mean that they’re equally safe? Not by a long shot. One study showed that safety on private jets was 30 times better than on commercial flights. The study tracked potential touchpoints on a flight and found that in a commercial flight there were 700 potential touchpoints. On a private charter? 20. That’s safe.  How is JetLevel better than our competitors? We don’t just follow the CDC guidelines; we go above and beyond. This means that we will wash every porous surface within six feet of a guest, and we will scrub every non-porous surface. We require all of our staff and personnel to require the proper PPE, and we work with FBOs (Fixed Base Operators) to ensure that the ground staff do the same–they’re our partners in this and we only partner with the best.  The same goes with our customary ground-based transportation. We work with transport that have standards that are as high as ours, so we can make every leg of your trip as safe and secure as possible. You’re our customers, and we want you to be as healthy as possible–we don’t want to risk your health and we commit to not risking your health. We have the strictest and safest standards.

Traveling by private jet during COVID-19 offers enhanced safety through minimized exposure in crowded public spaces. Operators have implemented rigorous cleaning protocols, and private terminals reduce contact with others, making it a safer travel option.
