The next generation Citation

With a cabin length of 15.7 feet, the CJ3 provides ample room for six to eight passengers. It’s a longer version of the CJ1 and CJ2, but Cessna also made other improvements to the aircraft. These include the increased payload capacity and maximum takeoff weight for better flight planning. The jet is also faster than its predecessors, reaching cruise speeds of 480 miles per hour.

Updated hardware provides great performance

The CJ3 is powered by two Williams FJ44-3A turbofan engines, each contributing a thrust of 2,820 pounds. These powerful engines help make the CJ3 perform well at both takeoff and landing. Additionally, natural laminar flow wings improve the jet’s fuel efficiency.

Short runway distance increases destination options

Because the CJ3’s takeoff distance is only 3,182 feet, the jet can take off from a wide variety of airports throughout the United States, including more remote options with shorter runways.
